VFS *****ing our Refunds
<p>I submitted a refund with VFS, Bruma more than 4 months ago, and to date my money has not been paid. Its as if they wait for you to either not show up or make mistake on your application then they tell you to re-submit and request a refund and guess what you never get your money back. I have recently again submitted an application and there was a mistake with the ****en name, I was asked to re-submit a new application and request a refund on the old one, when I asked why the money cannot be re-assigned to the new application, no one could give me a reasonable answer. Since I have not even gotten my first refund of more than 4 months ago, I thought what is the point of submitting another request for a refund.</p> <p>I have logged a complaint with VFS sent them all the proof of those payments they have requested for and yet I am not getting any joy in when those monies will be paid to me. I believe there are similar countless people out there who are in the same situation as me.</p> <p>It has become even more expensive now to apply for a permit since you have to pay both VFS and DHA and I believe if you do not pay there is no way you will be allowed to submit an application, and yet when its their turn to refund you, they take forever. </p> <p>VFS please pay as our refunds the same way we promptly pay for applications fees. This is unacceptable. I am hoping I will still get my refunds money as I not going to let this slide by.</p>
Its been almost a week since i last got an email response to this review from Nina Ntshingila from VFS who requested my cell number so she could call me to resolve this issue, and to date no one has called me or contacted me to explain to why I have been waiting for more than 5 months for refunds to be paid to me.
This has been the story of my life, you complain, and then you get some form of a response, and then it ends there.
Can someone at VFS please tell me what is going on with my refunds.? surely it should not take this much time to pay out a refund?

When I first wrote this review, I thought may be this is a bit too harsh on VFS, but looking back over the past months as events unfolds and I have still not receive my refunds money. I am really begining to think that is actually the case. I aksed myself why such an institution will not fulfl its promise of refunding their clients their monies when all the necessary proofs and documents requested have been provided for, and all that you get every single time is we have "requested Finance to process your refund", and this has been my story for the past 6 months now. I doubt if they even have a finance department.
Even Nina Ntshingila, Deputy Manager : DHA Operations at VFS who has been helpful by the way is unable to get the refund processed as she is not able to tell me when exactly i will get my money owed to me by her institution.
What do you call such an act? *****? *****ing? when an instituion appointed by the Department of Home Affairs to collect applications on their behalf preys on innocent foreigners, and blantly refuse to pay refunds that are due to them but quick to collect their hard earned monies when they apply for permits.
Thanks to mediums like this our voices will be heard, and hopefully someone from VFS Finance will make this refund happen so I can come to some sort of conclusion on this matter soon.
