VFS OCI renewal service in London

This is absolutely atrocious. I have been trying to book an appointment for my OCI renewal from their London centre for last 2 weeks. No appt available and their system does not give any idea the they will put new appt on system. They don't even give option of booking an appt further down the line even if one is not available in next few days. When I called a private company, they tell me that for £70 per application, they can secure an appt for the next week. This seems like a ****. VFS is issuing appt to these private companies who in turn are selling them to public at a huge cost
