VFS - misleading information to visa applicants

VFS took over the SA Dept of Home Affairs visa processing back in June 2014. I app**** for permament residency in August 2014, via their services (as you now have to do). At the time, the forms supp**** by them stated that you could apply based on being the parent of a SA child (27g), with the requirement that the child be able to support you being waived in the case of a minor child. In fact the visa regs had changed in approx. May 2014, to eliminate this waiver, so VFS were giving incorrect information. Despite the law change, they allowed me to submit my application (at a cost of close to R3000), and I have since received no reply whatsoever to my application. I have tried calling VFS who say it is Home Affairs' responsibility, and I have tried Home Affairs, who say they cannot be accountable for VFS. VFS is supposed to be a Visa Facilitation Service, and yet it has not only not \facilitated"obtaining a visa"
