VFS global / Spousal visa Appeal / No outcome

Good day,<br> I'm a Spanish married to a South African citizen for the past 10 years.<br> We submitted the application for renewal of my spousal visa at the VFS global Offices in Rivonia (Johannesburg) somewhere in June 2014. In October 2014 (four months later) my Spousal relatives visa was rejected due to insufficient proof of financial support. This came as a surprise since we were not requested to bring these documents along **it would have taken us 5 minutes to print bank statements/ house and other property owning documents/ and my partners work payslips**. Neither the VFS representatives checked for these documents in the \quality check"they do before submission.
