I wanted to apply for a PRP. Paid and filled an online form on vfs website. I then scheduled an appointment for 30 October 2020 on the same system. When i got to pretoria, vfs personnel told me they were not taking PRP applications since they are suspended. Why is their system allowing people to book for an unavailable service? Should i require a refund, their policy is to deduct a R250 or R850 for admin charges. Is it my responsibility to pay for maladministration? Is this now a money making scheme? Can vfs not send emails and inform all who have PRP application appointments that the service is suspended? Surely vfs can do better than this nonsense.
