VFS broken bridge to home affairs

Nothing good has come out my experience with VFS Cape Town. A typical company that doesn't give a hoot about any of its clients. Their job is to be the wall of china to any communication and access to home affairs. This way no one can be held responsible for anything. VFS have responded to my complaints by stating that there is nothing they can do to give me feedback on the status of my permit or how long it's going to take. Home Affairs too refuse to give me feedback saying I need to speak to VFS as I app**** through them. For all I know my documents could be lost in the piles of back logged documents sitting at Home Affairs. Of course the problem is with Home Affairs but why am I paying double to make use of VFS non existent service. What value have they brought to applicants? I was better off applying directly to Home Affairs even if it meant waiting in line for hours, but at least I could communicate to someone that knew what the progress of my permit was. My son is still being refused his birth certificate because I don't have a permit which has been delayed by nine months. VFS is day light *******!
