VFS Appeals taking too long

I made an appeal on the 12th of January 2018,it is 7 months down the line and still no response.The VFS website says it takes 6-8 weeks to get a response which is the standard time.My life is at a standstill,i am missing business opportunities because i cannot leave the country.The tracking system keeps saying application recieved at DHA on the 15 January 2018.

Can't VFS check on the progress because lives are ruined by these delays.
