Very frustrating refund process

I submitted visa application on the 17th of December 2019 ,I had to redo the online application process so I basically paid twice.I app**** for the refunds that evening to date I have not received my refund from VFS .I have called the call center and the call center agent advise me he could not check for the status of my refund .I have tried to call the call center several times but the moment you select the refund option the you hold until the phone cuts off .This process is very unfair as the have had my money in their account earning interest I can imagine the amount of people who have encountered the same problem while they make the refund process very difficult and capitalize on money that does not belong to them .
