USELESS & VERY RUDE MANAGER - MARTHER!
USELESS & VERY RUDE MANAGER - MARTHER!
March 2020 I app**** for the Lesotho Exemption Permit online and former my boss made online card payment for me!
Just after this application we had a sudden lock down and I was told we can resume after the lock down which made a perfect sense!
On the 22nd January 2021 I made an appointment to submit the required documents and the AP was approved. I called the Midrand centre after I noticed my proof of payment was deleted with all my emails explaining the situation but the good news is, when I logged into my online account on vfs website it is still confirming "Paid Online R1090", on the call the consultant I spoke to told me I have to have a proof of payment; either I contact my boss to send me a bank statement with that transaction or I get her to request the bank to send just that transaction.
This didn't make sense to me since I assumed they would have the records in their system! I however tried contacting to my former boss on the company number I had and I was told she moved back to her home country in Europe, on the 28th I went for the Appointment and was told I WON'T BE ASSISTED at all if I did not have the hard copy.
I called and spoke to Zanele (who was calm and professional) she stated the same thing that I have to have a hard copy, I understood that was beyond her control I then asked to be transferred to the manager and spoke to MARTHER - To whom I explained my situation and she told me the same thing as told by her subordinate Zanele and I explained the reason I requested to speak to the manager was because I had the same answer from her subordinates, I was expecting the different one addressing the problem itself, in a VERY RUDE PROUD attitude she told me she "won't go BACK and FORTH with me, that's just how it is, and I have to find the Proof of payment otherwise I WON'T GET ANY HELP!
Clearly MANAGER MARTHER did not have the solution for me, she gave the same answer given by consultants inferior to her! worse, she was VERY RUDE but they were calmer, when I exclaimed "you are the manager who cannot give a solution!" She asked me if I think I would be able to cross the border if I have lost the passport I rep**** "yes I can" she asked how I explained "I go to the embassy and they will write me a confirmation that I have lost the passport and I will cross," I added the same would apply if I lost my license "I would get a written document which will allow me to drive whilst working on getting the new license" I told the MANAGER MARTHER there is always answer everywhere made possible my the Managers!
She again in a very HAUGHTY etiquette referred me back to her SURBODINATE, which to me meant nothing but the perfect display of her INCOMPETENCE, PRIDE AND LOW LEVEL OF ACCADEMIA! This was just a polite way of hanging up on me!
WELCOME TO Lesotho vfs where the managers are people like MARTHER with such a preposterous level of unprofessionalism! It means I have lost my R1090 with the help of THE GREAT MANAGER, WELL DONE MARTHER!
But it means - WE ARE NOT SAFE WITH OUR INFORMATION UNDER MARTHER's "excellent" management!
After such a terrible experience I had with VFS Global on the 28th Jan, I received a call from DIKONELO whom, right from the beginning of the call the tone of her voice was utterly ‘THE-WILLINGNESS-TO-HELP’!!!
Dikonelo sounded like the director of the company who was ready to go any MILES to the best of it! She first SINCERELY expressed her remorse for the experience and explained step by step how she was going to help me get the proof of payment so I be able to submit to finalize with my application, she went as far as she could indeed and wow she MADE IT- I HAVE A PROOF OF PAYMENT with her efficient ASSISTANCE!
The 28th experience made me question VFS GLOBAL system, I started having skepticism if our information is safe with them, I had drawn a conclusion that VFS isn’t able to store the database but Dikonelo proved me VERY WRONG and recovered ALL my trust in them!
Indeed if the companies and gov entities would have consultants of her calibre the entire continent would progress! She clearly had GREAT training; that made her understand that despite the level of the position she has, she is there to serve but not to be served as we always experience almost everywhere! This is what we call Management!
Thank you so much Dikonelo Motsapi, I hope you be recognized for this! We NEED people like you!
