Useless Customer Assistance. Pure Money making Joke.

I have been assisting my Partner to help her get her "proof Of Residency" Certificate, or Permit (We still don't know what it is), as apparently the stamp in her Irish Passport is no longer valid. We have been jumping through VFS's "hoops" for over month, getting Police Clearance Documents, Affidavits, Bank letters, Work letters, Tax Certificates, etc.. We have now paid you TWICE, as the first appointment wen't past due date due to us waiting for Police Clearance Docs.. Now on making our 2nd visit to the Cape Town offices, we are told she still hasn't app**** for the correct application?, and we have to do this again? What is wrong with you? Why can't you simply HELP us, answer basic questions in proper ENGLISH< and explain WHAT FORM YOU NEED?

According to the useless woman at the counter, we app**** for a "Permanent Residence permit", and we apparently need "Permanent Residence permet, PROOF of PR". it's one or the other, which one is it? And they both ask for the same documents, the same R 1 350-00 fee, and the same delay each time????!!!!!!

PPLEASE can a MANAGER call us back and explain what it is you want, and how we go about doing this, without us going BROKE!

That would be MUCH APPRECIATED!

So, after getting a call from a Ms\Mrs Engelbrecht who requested I email her a copy of my partners Documents, to which she would respond accordingly, that was three days ago. No response except to say she will respond.
So I've again updated my star rating to a 1. Unfortunately VFS Global and our Useless Dept of Home affairs are ***********.

Update, Friday the 17th June.
My review of VFS Global won't change, I still believe the Website, and the FAQ online needs some more information, especially the Application "Sub Type Category", which has NO HELP or explanation of what each form is for what type of Visa or application.
Having had personal correspondence with a Mr Unathi Bovungana in the Cape Town Office, who was extremely helpful via email and telephonically, we FINALLY managed to submit the correct application on our 3rd attempt. That's how poor the Website is.
Can I make a recomendation to the Developers, write a DECENT FAQ, or online Help process that EXPLAINS each of the various Sub Categories on the Application form.. (Eg: 26(c)Dependant(<18) specifically for a Permanent Resident via Parents who lived in South Africa), or something similar.
Lastly, why the SA Dept of Home Affairs believes travelling with an A4 Certificate is a clever idea is also beyond me?! That adds to another item of Diplomatic belongings which could be ******, duplicated, etc.. Why you would feel the need to go away from Passport Stamps, a MUCH safer option, is beyond me, and thousands of others.
Ho hum.
