Unfair and *********** measures
My application was rejected in April (25th April) due to previous convictions (not specified) which I don't possess and have police clearance certificates to prove it. I checked the clause quoted on the rejection letter and it did not correspond to the decision. I sent all this information to Mr. Gerson Muti and the headoffice of DHA because vfs said they had no measures in place to rectify this. After this Mr Gerson advised me to consider the application as pending and to ignore the rejection, I requested an email, he sent a one line statement with no official signature. I continued to call dha and Mr Gerson's office weekly but could not get any feed back. After April Mr Gerson's office and cellphone number would direct me to voice mail. At vfs I was met with very rude call centre agents who knew nothing. After a month and a half of calling dha and vfs, a dha customer care agent advised me call vfs and request to speak to a manager. some people's permits have not come out, I am concerned that these rejections have been brushed under the carpet. It could cost me my current job, due to such incompetence. I am not a ********, in SA or any continent. And I have always been legal.
