still lost in limbo

Good Afternoon.<br> After my prior communications to VFS I received an email address from VFS giving me a contact email at home affairs and after several attempts I received an email back saying that the case is being processed BUT i must keep his temporary visa active which we have been doing by travelling every month for 11 months out of SA but this time Home affairs at the border actually wrote in his passport that no extensions were to be issued and are adamant that despite his Parents being legal residents of South Africa he should leave SA and not return 'till he is granted his Visa. So now a 16 year old child is supposed to live in a foreign country with out his parents. Whom can I contact at Home Affairs or VFS to understand what on earth is going on as this has now been 11 months since we app**** for his permanent relatives visa
