Spousal Visa Extension

Hi , i have app**** for my spousal visa extension on the 16th of October , but today is 03/12/2018 i have not received any update,last sms i got from them was on the 19th October which said my application is in adjudication. but it has been laying their since 19th October, it is a very simple procedure, as my husband is a south Africa,what is the complication and the delay? and what is the challenge in granting an extension? im very disappointing and depressed , as i need to travel abroad to visit my family, but its a challenged for me now to get the extension on my spousal visa. please help me kindly. my phone is ********** regards
