Should not serve the public, dismissive and rude staff.

Extremely disappointing service at Rivonia Sandton Branch. The staff were rude and unhelpful. We carefully provided everything listed on the official checklist, only to be told that a document was missing — one that was never mentioned anywhere on the list. When I raised this with Sibiosisi, the manager, I was spoken to in a dismissive and condescending manner, being told I “should have known.” As a member of the public, how could I possibly know if it isn’t on the checklist?

We were the very first appointment of the day (number 1) but, because we had to leave to print the unexpected document, we were pushed back to number 32. Applicants have no choice but to use this service, and yet we are charged almost the same amount for the service fee (R1,520) as the actual work permit (R1,560). For this, one would expect professionalism and accurate guidance, not rudeness and misinformation.

I am certain I am not the only one affected — several fellow applicants experienced the same issue today.
