Previous Home Affairs service was much better than VFS

<p> </p> <p>I submitted an application for my 2yrs old daughter in January 2016, and the status was “Application has been forwarded to the Department of Home Affairs for adjudication on 21-Jan-2016” and till now the status is same.</p> <p>Previously, I used to call Home Affairs and get the transparent status update, but now VFS is causing confusions between applicant and Home Affairs. I called VFS several times and they give me a Home Affairs phone number and nobody attend the phone.</p> <p>Not sure if they know what they doing… </p>
