POOR SHOW, OLD CHAP – NOT QUITE JOLLY GOOD

What ho! A rather underwhelming experience so far, if I’m being honest. It seems that to track your UK VISA application online, you absolutely must have an AURN Number – vital, apparently, as without it, you won’t be able to track your application at all. Capital stuff, right?

Here’s the rub: all they give you in Cape Town is a GWF Number. That’s right – no AURN in sight! So unless you’re clairvoyant or otherwise inclined to magic numbers out of thin air, make sure you ask about this before you leave – especially if you're concerned about not having paid for SMS updates.
