Poor service and *****

I app**** and received an Italian long-term study visa in October 2021 - six months later (April 2022) a fee was deducted from my credit card . . . which was clearly *****lent as I had paid everything at the time of my visa application (they won't release your passport with any outstanding fees) and I had received no communication from VSF Global explaining the fee. I immediately contacted VFS Global Italian Visa Office JHB per email (in April), even got the Italian consulate involved, who has urged them to explain why this "fee" was deducted 6 months after the fact but have yet to receive a response. Terrible non-existent service. Through the years, I have app**** for numerous Schengen visas, through different countries and have never had a situation like this before.
