Poor service

<p>Hi,I and my younger brother came to stay in South Africa with our father who was a citizen,we stayed here based on a temporal residential permit till our father passed away,we were then advised by the department of home affairs to apply for an exemption permit (permanent residential permit) because our father was no more. We then app**** for what they advised us to apply for through VFS in Durban,the application was made on the 20/11/2015 and we received confirmation on the 25/11/2015 that it had beef received by the DHA,the VSF website states that the application was supposed to take 8-10 months,it's been a year and 5 months now and we haven't received anything yet,I've been trying to contact the DHA but no one seem to know what is happening </p>
