Police clearance
I had the privilege of speaking to a very condecsending young lady who works for VFS. Not much help except to tell me that if i knew the police clearance would have taken several weeks then i should have app**** for it months in advance and 2: i could still travel after my current TRV expires if i have to in case of emergency but just that i would be considered an undesirable person upon return to here to my South Africam husband and child. Sorry lady but the three previous times i had app**** for my TRV and an application for my PrP at VFS, just proof that i had indeed gone to get my SA police clearance was sufficient. So in doing everything right except now for not doing my police clearance months before hand, am i still able to renew my current TRV even if it's a month before it expires. Because i have to wait for the actual police certificate.<br> On another note: VFS is useful if Home Affairs would do their job right and get their response towards applications on time. I have had to wait previously over a year for a TRv and still waiting after a year for my PRP which was done through VFs. They keep saying they have escalated the matter but no one does anything to fasciliate.
