Permanent Residence Application

My wife app**** for Permanent residence with VFS last year in May 2018. A year and three months later they still say that application was received at home affairs on the 29 May 2019. When I call VFS all they can do it to advise me to call home affairs. Respectfully my wife paid VFS application fees but we must run around. I contacted home affairs and they provided and escalation reference *** and nothing has taken place. This whole delay is holding myself and wife and our children from buying a house as result of my wife status. Furthermore it costly to continue to renew visas. I am of the view seeing that my wife app**** for PRP why should we renew her visa. This is money making scheme and my rights as South African and children rights are been prejudiced due home affairs not considering other people. Even though my wife does not have an SA status she is also been prejudiced as she been in South Africa for over 12 years. If we don’t receive a satisfactory response I will proceed to inform the media as this must be exposed.

Dear Sir/Madam, please note you have not indicated how many days you would not revert back to me. Furthermore should you not provide feedback I will proceed to lodge a complaint with the Public Protector due to undue delay as result of Home Affairs providing a lack of feedback. I am tired and so is my wife been pushed from pillar to post. It is completely unacceptable two wait undue delays. This undue delay has prejudiced my rights and my wife and kids. I would truly appreciate that this has your urgent attention.
