Online applications impossible in South Africa

The website doesn't recognize my email address. I tried several addresses on several machines, with different browsers and all combinations thereof. I keep getting the "invalid email address" error. I contacted ********** and was told to try again later. Problem remained. I was then told to call the call centre and ask for a certain customer executive. Tried that for a week. I listen to the automatic announcements, select the appropriate choices (#2 and #4) and wait for an agent. But then the call gets dropped within 3 to 5 minutes EVERY time. If I call back immediately the response is "The subscriber you have dialed is temporarily not available. Please try again later." I have been trying for 2 weeks now. I need to renew my sons visa before end of the month. How can I get hold of VFS to fill in the forms, pay the funds, and book an appointment with this absolutely *********** service??? Should my son get banned just because DHA requires me to go via VFS and VFS then is unable to provide the service I will pursue them legally for damages. I expect VFS wll read it, promise to get back to me. State that they did get back to me on this forum, but actually just recommend me to try again or some other nonsense.

Indeed, VFS did get back to me. A lady from VFS Durban phoned me and gave me my email address and password which I had used for my last registration. I am convinced that I had used that email address and that password in my continued attempts already. It also doesn't explain why a "new registration" would not allow me to use a different email and password. In any case I managed to login and submit the application. Thanks to the Lady in Durban. Yet the IT system and design needs some serious overhaul, I think.
