No response on Visa appeal

Dear Hello Peter<br> I am a French Citizen and have been in South Africa since 2006, first on a Study visa and thereafter on a Life Partner Visa. I was granted a Life Partner Visa in 2013 for a period of one year I then app**** for a renewal and was granted a further two years. With my attorney, I app**** to have the Visa renewed (through VFS) but to my surprise the renewal was declined due to the fact that our notarial contract had expired (even though a Notarial contract cannot expire unless there is termination date stipulated in it, which was not the case as our notarial contract was a declaration of our relationship which is the equivalent of a marriage certificate).I lodged an appeal to this decision on 19th of December 2014. On VFS's website there is no progress or feedback. My Visa will expire soon. I realize the Act has changed but we were compliant with our application regardless of the change.As a further concern, through my research I assist many PhD, Masters and honours students as well as train interns from the Groen Sebenza (from the DEA) program all of their studies will be in jeopardy without my assistance. Please urgently help me!
