No communication, no response

We had to use VFS Global office in Pretoria for our Canadian visa's. What a terrible experience. We used their website to make the booking and while we were on-time, their systems are so inefficient and their employees so unfriendly. Then the wait started - we have received no acknowledgement regarding the appication, even after almost 4 months. Contacting them does not help, as they reply with "We will reply to you within 2 business days..." which dowsn't happen. So we have spent almost R7,000 for nothing - we have no idea if the applications are in progress, there is no communication from them, and logging complaints is useless, just like them. We have contacted them twice to no avail - they reply with a standard email and then nothing. My next step will be to contact the Canadian embassy to find out if they are happy to have an inefficient, *********** and unfriendly company like VFS Global process visa's for them.
