No Change in application status

I have been waiting for my Adjudicated Application for more than 5 days not. According to the VFS tracking website, I was supposed to have received it last week on the 2nd of October 2015. I called the call centre and all they told me was wait for the next update. I don't get it why tell me my application will be ready for collection in one working day if I have to wait for more that a week to get an update
