No appointment available and no help either - Vfsglobal Durban

I have been trying to get an appointment for a Shengen Visa in Durban, KZN, SA. The helpline is no help at all, as the calls get cut off. The website to book an appointment says there are no slots available. When I managed to book a premium service appointment in Port Elizabeth, I was told at the appointment that I had to book in my area of residence. There is nothing on the website which says you have to book in your town of residence. This has cost me extra flight costs for nothing. I am supposed to fly out on 31 May 2022 - bit I cannot get any help to start applying for the visa. The Durban office was supposed to open 3 May 2022. When I went there yesterday, the office was closed?? HELP!!
