There Helpline number doesn't work, as I get through to a consultant who never answers and the timelines for Visas as advertised on their website is incorrect, obviously just to attract suckers like me.

VFS just called me and apologized, stating the application is with home affairs and the timeline on the VFS website for temporary residence visas is no longer valid, as Home Affairs have a very large backlog.
