lost in Limbo since Oct 2014

Good Morning.<br> I recently requested an update on on my sons PRP. as it has been over one year now. I received the usual automated response, followed by an email requesting the PRP number. Then I received an email saying someone had been in touch with me. Unfortunately I have not received any communication from VFS . <br> <br> Apologies for contacting you again but it is now ONE YEAR since we app**** for our son's permanent residency and I have heard nothing from the DHA or VFS except that we should just continue waiting and that some months ago VFS would escalate the situation. I am concerned as this does not seem normal that an application for a family permanent residency could possible take so long. <br> <br> I would appreciate an update on the situation as it just seems to drag on and on with no end in sight. Can you or someone at DHA please assist?
