To my great surprise I heard from VFS that my sons permanent resident visa was ready for collection after 14 months.<br> I fully understand that that VFS are in the hands of department of Home Affairs and their unbelievable lack of communication but once VFS received the documents from Home affairs the whole communication and collection process was outstanding and the staff and the visa collection desk were professional and helpful.
