Left in limbo
*******! *******! *******!
If VFS does not have the means, channels, powers, and/or authority to approach the Department of Home-Affairs and enquire about the status of our long-standing/long-overdue applications, then honestly I just do not see a single reason behind having this giant middle man called VFS in between applicants and the DHA.
Honestly, we are by no means asking for our applications to be expedited or treated with priority. All we are asking from VFS is to give us decent information and accurate feedback as to the status of our applications. We cannot just be left in limbo like this!
Where is my applications at the moment? By when can I realistically expect an outcome? Can you please find that out from the DHA? You cannot even update your online tracking systems guys. That's surely not the DHA's responsibility!
If you have never relocated overseas, kindly be informed that a residence permit is the single most important piece of document a person living in a foreign land can have. It is not right to simply tell us to wait indefinitely for our applications to be processed. 20Nov2014 to 07Oct2015 is time more than sufficient to process an application.
