LATE EXTENSION RESPONSE

On the 17th of Sept, I app**** for an extension on my Visitors visa. I was told it would take 8-10 weeks for me to get a response. I received an email on the 18th of Sept that my application had been forwarded to the Dept. Of Home Affairs. <br> <br> 8-10 weeks from time of application would have been end of November. It is the 2nd week into January. I am meant to start university this month. I cannot apply for a students permit. Customer care are really not helpful. I need to urgently apply for a student permit so I can start university this year. <br> <br> If VFS agents would have been sincere about the actual length of processing it really would have helped and I would have refrained from applying for an extension. <br> <br> I am totally lost and helpless right now.
