Late delivery of permit feedback

I app**** for a permit via VFS Harare in the first week of January and was told that my application will take 4 to 6 weeks. Its now April and there still hasn't been any feedback. More frustrating is that they had to take my passport with the application which makes it impossible for me to travel to any other country during this time. Can I please get a response on when I will get any sort of feedback regarding my application.
