Frustratingly inefficient

Trying to make an appointment for a Schengen visa application for days now. Their site was offline for maintenance for most of yesterday. When trying to login to your account, it returns with an error message at least 50% of the time. When you are lucky enough to login, there are zero appointments available anywhere in the country.

It's frustrating as VFS is the only authorised entity to be able to process the visa application, yet, they only accept appointments between 09:00 to 12:30. With hundreds, if not thousands, of travellers looking to obtain a visa, how could that possibly be enough time slots to accommodate all those applications?

Now I'm forced to rebook my flight, spending an insane amount of money on the fare difference on an already expensive ticket, because I can't secure a visa appointment. My family in Europe has to spend their time, money and energy again to obtain the necessary paperwork to support my application. But with no appointments available ever, I don't even know if a visa will ever be secured.

Surely there has to be a better, more efficient way of doing this. Can you please instate additional time slots to accommodate the demand?
