Frustrated

I have a job offer In Portugal and I have been at vfs global 3 times already , first time I was there I told them I have a job and the contract and sponsorship letter okay we are putting you on a job seeking visa didn’t listen to me , so paperwork I had didn’t match up to what they needed , 2nd time I was there again insisting I go on a job seeking visa , 3rd time I was there they told me sorry no more job seeking visa but we can assist with D1 visa long stay okay perfect finally everything was okay ask them how long will this take as I was suppose to flight on the 30th of June ….. no it will take 15 work days perfect I will move my flight and count 15 work days …. Changed it to the 20th of July and now when i phoned they said 30 work days to a year …. Please tell me what company will wait a year for you to come over and what do I tell my employer that is waiting for me with all the change of dates no one actually knows what is going on

Can someone please assist me in this matter as I just need some decent help
