we app**** for a permanent residence in April 2017 at the VFS office. i was advised that it takes between 8-10 months for an outcome. Every month i go on the tracker and see how far the application is and to my surprise it just say it was received by DHA. What i fail to understand is why does it take so long, the 10months have past and still the tracker is still giving me the same response which i really don't know why i actually have to go on there as it does not help at all. it does not give a true reflection of your application status for example, "pending, in process" or whatever the case my be.. if there is any documents outstanding, and the reason why this is taking so long ,why do you let people wait this long , why not tell them or something. this is really unacceptable for a person to wait this long and than the tracker on the website is useless.
