DELAYED VISAS / PERMITS

I submitted my ZSP application on 11 November 2014 in Polokwane and was told the permit was to take 8 - 10 weeks. Surprisingly, I am in my 15th week and there is no service delivery. What pains me most is, my familys' temporary residence permits (Accompanying relative) are linked to my permit. I have a 9 year old son who has been rejected a place at primary school on the basis that he does not have a study permit. Once my permit is out, I need to renew his permit and have been advised by the Department of Home Affairs that I have to apply for his change of condition.<br> <br> This has taken too long and people who submitted after me, are now in possession of their permits. I would suggest they use the first in first out method to process the applications. And also, they would rather inform us of the outcome rather than treating us like trash. They must be reminded that their service is paid for and for such, we expect them to deliver. We paid hard earned cash.
