Delayed Permit
At this point I have no idea what to do!!!!<br> <br> I submitted my appeal application (relative permit for my wife) in December 2014, today 8 months later still no response. I have written to virtually every one in the DHA Office but non of them responds. Even the phone numbers provided on the website don't work. I call VFS and they tell me to ask home affairs, why should I call DHA when VFS is the one who took my application. How long should I have to wait?<br> <br> My wife can't do anything now, as she as only on the application. we have a baby together, if the baby gets sick and I am not around, how will she take him to the hospital? Please VSF do something, you promise good service, why don't you deliver? you charge enough as it is you should must do your work!!!!

Please allow us to reiterate applications have a minimum processing time of 8-10 weeks for Temporary Residence Permit applications and 8 - 10 months for Permanent Residence Permit applications. This is due to the fact that applications are assessed individually and individual circumstances can mean processing times may vary and result in longer decision times. Therefore you are requested to wait until a decision on the application is taken since VFS Global does not have any control over the processing times.
