Delay of Study Permit Extension
I have submitted my application for extension of study permit in October, 2014 in Cape Town, but it was rejected due to Police Clearance Certificate. I made an appeal by the end of November, 2014 but still the status of my application on the VFS website reads \Application for Mebratu Fenta has been forwarded to Department of Home Affairs for adjudication on 02-Dec-2014.". Please help as this affects my academic exercises. I have already missed an international conference held outside of SA as my visa has already expired on 31 December 2014"

I'm appalled by your service or lack thereof. At the beginning of the year I app**** for an extension of my 2 year old son's visa. It was rejected on the grounds that my wife did not consent to it even though she was present during the application. In February I then made an appeal and till this day, the status of the application reads 'Application has been forwarded to Department of Home Affairs for adjudication on 17-Mar-2015. Surely why is it taking this long?
Please get back to me as soon as possible as this is becoming ridiculous.
