Critical Skills Renewal Application Requirements

I am a Zim female with a critical skills visa.I app**** for a Critical Skills renewal visa since my first year expires on the 19th of June 2016 and i am already employed.I attempted to submit an application for critical skills renewal on 12th of January 2016 in which i went to your Rivonia offices for Submission of my application ref TRR*** I was told at the quality control's desk that i had app**** for the wrong visa and should have app**** for the Change in existing conditions of Visa.I reapp**** for the change in existing condition visa application ref TRC*** .Unfortunately when i got there the following day after having app**** for a TRC i was told i needed to submit police clearance from both SA & Zim , so i could not submit.I then rescheduled the appointment for the 29th of Feb.(1)Please advise me whether the official was right in making me change my application to a TRC.(2)Moreso do i have only been here for 7 months since August 2015 do i need to submit SA PCC because i have stayed for less than a year in SA as it states and why was i told they need SA PCC.Please advise me accordingly before my application gets rejected again on the 29th.Thank you
