Booking process is impossible

I have been trying book an appointment on the online system after paying the 80 Euro fee on the online registration. Now the VFS office in Pretoria is the stumbling block, whereas everything else was smooth sailing.

The message I receive constantly while checking every 2-3 hours over the past 3 days is "We are sorry, but no appointment slots are currently available. New slots appear at regular intervals, please try again later".

Well I have been trying, and this process is holding me hostage as I have other things to do in my life other than to keep babysitting the website. If there are no slots available before my planned travel, I would like to know so that I can move on with other things.

This is horrible service.
