Beyond Useless

This must be the most useful organization in the world. I have been trying to get a visa for Portugal for a month. The website does not work (can’t make a booking and confirmed by other reviewes on this site). There is no one to speak to. The email help was inadequate - booked for the wrong day and did not get a booking for half the family.

After weeks if frustration managed to get a booking. 15 datyes we were told for a visa. Now a month later we still have no visa. We leave in four days! The call center does not respond. The email responses say nothing. The email resepondr says the application is with the embassy. This I can see on the online site. It has not changed in two weeks. The number to call on the slip they provided is wrong (does not exist). There is absolutely no way to get any useful response.

VFS takes your money and then leaves you with no ability to follow up. If is *****ing! And they add an extra charge for sms notifications, we have had one sms to say the application has been received. They probably will let me know that the visa is ready after we have missed the flights.

I have noticed a standard response from VFS that someone will contact the people logging on this site in 48 hours. Which will be too late.l! They done respond to the 24 turnaround time on their email queries.

VFS is a monopoly that needs to be reported to the Competition Commission and the Consumer Commission for misrepresentation.
