Appeal for Life Partner Visa Delayed - 12 weeks

I submitted my documents for my Appeal 5th of December 2014, it was send to Pretoria on the 9th of December. and at this moment I do still not have any feedback and nobody can tell me any information about the status.<br> The only information I get is that there are a lot of appeals and it can take longer. I have also sent through a request to the director general's offices to assist but I am not getting the response I require. Unfortunately at this stage the issue is now interfering with my bread and butter which now is creating a huge problem.<br> <br> The appeal was needed because the first time I did not submit the police clearance due to the Police Clearance being held up because of the post office strikes which I had absolute no control over and after 4 months I received.<br> <br> I was told the processing time will be 8-10 weeks for the appeal, and at this moment I am on week 12 and still I have no feedback, the status for me is still 'it has been submitted on the 9th of December to DHA'. <br> My employer is suspending me and I will have no payment from the 1st of March 2015.<br> <br> Can Somebody help,as this has now become loss of income and an emotional burden.<br> Lydia Winteraeken
