8 months still waiting for outcome

I have submitted my application for Critical Skill Visa in October, 2014 in Durban, but it was rejected due minor document. I made an appeal in the December, 2014 but still the status of my application on the VFS website reads \Application for srinivasa has been accepted at VFS centre and will forworded to the department of Home affairs.". Please help as this affecting my academic exercises. I have already missed an international conference held outside of SA. My bank accounts has been frozen. Pls help ASAP"""
