3 YEARS waiting for my visa

Hi, I am generally happy with the VFS service. This is really my final option to try to escalate my problem. I have app**** for my permanent residency 3 (!!) years ago, January 2016. I have been on the phone with home affairs, I have been on the phone with VFS and I've been inside the Cape Town branch to help escalate the issue. All has been met with 0 responses and my tracker still shows the date which the applicated has been received. It's been 3 years and no update yet. My wife has received the phone call 1 year ago to confirm we are still married and living together, they told us on the phone that it should all be done within the next few months. That was 12 months ago. I really need some help getting this application sorted.
