2 YEARS WAITING FOR VISA ADJUDICATION AND STILL COUNTING!!

<p>After lodging a complaint on this website 3 weeks ago I got a call from a VFS agent indicating that they would escalate my issue with the appropriate office. Unfortunately the status quo of being in limbo and perpetual paralysis continues because its now two years and six months waiting for a verdict from DHA about my visa application. A visa application which was initially rejected by DHA due to a blatant mistake on their part. Now the appeal result is outstanding ad-infinitum!It is my firm belief that if there was no VFS as a go-between I would have obtained a result by now- positive or negative. As I have indicated before, I see no value addition that VFS has brought. That is my experience. Those with a better experience can count their blessings. </p> <p>The only strange thing is that after the call from the VFS agent the status of my application changed from "application for F****** was received by DHA on 27/11/2014 and is waiting for adjudication by DHA" to "application for F***** was received by DHA on 27/11/2014". My question is simple: what has happened to the "adjudication"? Does removal of the phrase "waiting for adjudication" mean the adjudication has been done or its just semantics that have no material and operational significance? If the adjudication has been done why there is no result after three weeks following this status change?</p> <p>Maybe someone from VFS will call me after this post is published on hellopeter. If you are designated to call me please provide answers to the above. Also, take a moment and imagine you were me for just a moment: You apply for a visa at DHA and submit all required paper work. In fact, you are the ideal applicant when it comes to the specific visa category. That notwithstanding, you get a rejection letter that is clearly borne out of error because it cites that you did not submit a document that you actually provided. You say 'honest mistake' and appeal. When is this? Its 24 Nov 2014. They tell you at the VFS submission counter that your reference number is TRA ********** and you should expect a result in 6 to 8 weeks. Fast forward to now. Yes its now 05 May 2017 and you are still waiting! What has happened in the intervening period? Lost your job; your bank accounts closed; studies cancelled; detached from your family; just to mention a few tragic concequences. I said take a 'moment' and imagine this. The tragedy is that I dont have to imagine it- its my life, my daily existence over the past two and a half years and there does not seem to be any light at the end of this dark tunnel.
