I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with Vexma Properties, specifically dealing with Khanyisa. Communication is practically nonexistent — she is very difficult to reach and consistently unresponsive. Despite paying rent that includes maintenance, appliances have not been repaired, and there always seems to be an excuse rather than any real action. This has made living conditions unnecessarily stressful and inconvenient. She takes MONTHS to fix things and I’m not even being dramatic. One of her excuses is “the owner says it’s too expensive to fix” how unprofessional?? What’s even more concerning is that she refuses to provide the landlord’s contact details, which feels highly suspicious and raises serious transparency concerns. I have even formally requested the owners details as a Tenant I feel I have the right to know who I am paying thousands of Rands to every month. On top of that, monthly invoices are not sent unless I repeatedly ask for them — something that should be standard practice for any rental agency. Overall, the lack of accountability, poor communication, and failure to fulfill basic responsibilities make this experience feel unreliable and, at times, questionable.
