MajorTech, proudly South African
We bought a MajorTech timer some time ago. The project it was meant for never happened so it sat unused till ten days ago. Whdn my husband tried to use it, it was dead. He opened it and checked thd battery. The battery was dead. He emailed the company, explaining that he had a non functioning timer, out of warranty, with a dead battery, and asking if they could possibly tell him if replacing the battery would fix the problem. He asked if they had replacement batteries available to the public, and the cost. A few days later he received a reply from the CEO. The email had landed in the company junk mail folder, which he checks every few days. He said replacing the battery should work, and to pop in. When we arrived they were friendly, professional and very helpful. We are pensioners, so they actually exchanged it no charge. We came awag with a cafalogue and bought a birthdag gift for our daughter as an added bonus.
