Crates are not durable

I have a pointer that does not travel well. On recommendation from my vet I started looking around for a crate to help with short trips in the car. According to their website, the crate from Cosmic Pets ticked all the boxes: durable, solid and spacious, folds flat for storage. I initially got great service from their sales representative, my crate was delivered to my vet for collection and they even replaced it with a smaller one when the original did not fit my car. I was impressed, but not for long… The crate lasted about 5 minutes, not even one trip to the vet, before my dog tore through the mesh fabric. I tried to contact them on their website to find out if the mesh fabric can be replaced with another type of fabric, and if so, what they would recommend, but I did not get a response. This company is quick to sell you something but they don’t respond when things go wrong. These crates are not “durable or solid” as advertised, not for their price. They might be okay for sedated or very docile dogs, or if you don’t expect any type of after sales service.
