Poor quality and lack of communication

Nov '18 I purchased the Vertex Mop floor cleaning system (bucket plus 2 cleaning pads). After washing floors in just 2 rooms the one cleaning pad tore by the tabs that fit over the mop tab slots. I contacted Vertex Mops who said they would gladly replace the cleaning pad (22 Nov) and that was the last I heard from them. Have sent follow up e-mails but no acknowledgement or response. Really disappointed as it was not a cheap cleaning system and since then the second cleaning pad tabs have also torn. It seems that the tabs are sewn too close to the edge and then "fray" after a couple of uses which means that you cannot use them in the bucket system any longer.
