Insurance claim - Horrible service

Being insured for a Server including data recovery that is the heartbeat of company operations Server claim is declined due to Wear and tear and no clear reason to wear and tear claims can be given, claim for data recovery is also declined, reasoning being claim for server damage was declined, surely data recovery should be handled as a separate instance although connected to the server that is insured.
