Lack of Common Sebse & Charging For Recycled Enails to the Sheriff Vermuelen Attorneys Constantia Johannesburg
I signed up with these attorneys and they were good initially, but as time went on they kept charging me for recycled emails to the Sheriff amounting to at least R1000. I complained about this pattern every week, as well as the lack of progress in executing the warrant of execution. (So they just were happy to keep sending the same follow up emails) So miraculously after complaining the Sheriff tried too execute the warrant (Short time after) and was told by some person that the debtor had moved. It turns out the debtor is actually still residing there. I have spent over R30,000 with this company to look after my interests, yet the Sheriff and the attorneys except on face value that the debtor now resides at a BNB in PTA by an unknown individual probably a person living with the debtor or a family member!! All Vermeulen Attorneys can say is we are sorry the debtors have moved please pay a tracing agent again. They took so long to follow up with the Sheriff eg not by email that the window of opportunity slipped away. The senior partner said "You said yourself they were ****** or words to that effect! This is after spending all that money ! I would not recommend them how they treated me especially the one partner who cannot take critism just keeps charging you even when you point out it the same email and probably a automated response from the Sheriff.. They accepted a lame excuse that the debtor had moved and wanted to charge me again for a tracing agent!!!
